As a rule, a current Rolex will not have any engraving on the case. As seen when looked at closely (I did my best to show it in the picture), the green "hologram" sticker is still fastened to the case back of my 16622 Yachtmaster with the plastic protector still stuck on top. I had a DJ years ago and left the green sticker on until the watch was eventually serviced at which time, as I recall, it was removed by Dallas RSC. If nothing else the sticker will keep off scratches on the brushed surface of the caseback and helps provide authenticity if the watch is ever sold. Rolex requires their ADs to remove all packaging materials - i.e. the stickers - on your watch and present it in the green box with papers, etc. in the lid pocket. Some ADs will be nice and leave the case back stickers and clasp on as customers believe that it helps protect their clasp from desk diving scratches.
